The Marrow in our Bones: A Pocketbook of Poems about our Battle with Childhood Cancer
This pocketbook of poems follows our family from July of 2023 when our one-year-old son was diagnosed with cancer to March of 2024 when we eventually rang his bell. I wrote these poems during the highs and lows of our journey, in the midst of the pain cancer brings, when I was scared and our lives were falling apart, and the outcome of our fight was still unknown.
To Leap Off the Dock: A Book of Therapeutic Poems about Healing and Change
This collection of poems is about therapeutic change and healing. Matthew Leavenworth wrote these poems over the course of seven years as a private practice counselor and while working as an instructor with counseling students. They are intended to be used as a tool for self-reflection and are accompanied by observations and recommendations for how they can be applied in and out of a counseling setting.
